Privacy Policy
Rowdy: Row on Water for Apple Vision Pro, by Flying Tofu Productions, LLC.
Rowdy does not collect any data about you. Nothing is sent to us: there is no account or sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and we run no servers that receive anything from the app. Rowdy does not use Apple Health and does not use your location.
Hand tracking and your space
Rowdy uses hand tracking so the oars follow your hands and to estimate your strokes when no rowing machine is connected, and head position so you can steer by tilting your head. visionOS processes this on your Vision Pro. Rowdy uses it only while you row, does not store it, and does not send it anywhere.
Rowing machines (Bluetooth)
If you connect a rowing machine, Rowdy reads its power, stroke rate, distance and, if the machine reports it, heart rate over Bluetooth to move your boat and show your stats during the row. This is not stored after the row and stays on your Vision Pro.
Apple Health
Rowdy does not use Apple Health. It does not read or write any health data.
What stays on your devices

Maps
Journey maps, postcards and share cards use Apple Maps imagery. To draw them, Rowdy asks Apple Maps for pictures of fixed places along the journey route (for example, points on the Nile or the Thames). It never uses or sends your own location.
Music
Music is optional. If you allow Apple Music access, Rowdy asks Apple Music for song search results and your recently played songs so you can choose tracks, checks whether you have a subscription, and plays songs through Apple Music. Without Apple Music, it plays short previews from Apple's public iTunes Search service, sending only the names of songs and artists from Rowdy's own built-in playlist for the style you picked. These requests go to Apple, not to us, and are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Photos
If you tap Save to Photos, Rowdy adds your row card or postcard to your photo library. It cannot read your photos. Copy and Share only happen when you tap them, and go where you choose.
Purchases
Journeys and spaces are sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your payment details entirely. We never see them.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes your settings and progress from that device. Progress synced with iCloud can be removed in Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Because nothing is sent to us, we hold no data about you to delete.
Your rights
Because Rowdy collects no personal information, we do not sell or share personal information, and we hold none to access, correct or delete. Wherever you live, if you have a question about your data, email us and we will answer.
Children
Rowdy does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will change and the revised policy will be posted here before it takes effect.
