Getting started
Import a floor plan from Photos or Files: a photo, a screenshot, a listing image or a PDF from your builder. Blueprint Doorway sets the whole home up on its own: it finds the walls, doors and windows, reads the room names and measurements to work out the scale, and stacks the floors if the plan shows more than one. No plan handy? Tap Try a sample plan.
Checking the walls
When setup finishes, compare the colored lines with your plan. Drag a wall to slide it, or tap it to delete or split it. Use the Walls, Door, Window and Opening tools to add anything that was missed, and Set scale again if the size looks wrong: measure one wall you know the length of. Undo and redo are at the top.
Walking through
Tap Walk through to stand inside the home at full size. The walk panel stays low in front of you: hold an arrow to walk, use the round arrows to turn, or tap a room on the map to go there. Turn your left palm up for a Menu button that brings the panel back, and an Exit button. Switch floors at the top of the panel, and turn the ceiling or the sky outside on and off.
Tabletop model
Tabletop shows the home as a dollhouse you can grab, turn, tip on its side and pull closer. Each floor can be lifted away to see the one below.
Troubleshooting
Some walls are missing or extra
Plans with heavy furniture drawings, hatching or very thin lines are the hardest to read. Delete the extra lines and draw the missing walls with the Walls tool; they snap to the plan.
The home is the wrong size
Tap Set scale again and mark a wall whose length you know, or a dimension printed on the plan.
Rooms look out of line between floors
Use the Line up tool to move one floor over the one below.
